Generating an application discovery report

Overview
Are you looking for a top-level report about your application? Something that you can provide to clients or to other interested parties but does not provide in-depth technical details…? Look no further than the Application discovery report:
- a one-click report
- provided in Microsoft Word format to share easily
- downloaded automatically to your machine
What does the report contain?
The report provided basic top-level information about your application, for example:
- Application summary:
- Number of Lines of Code
- Number of objects
- Number of relationships
- Architecture:
- technologies used in your application
- concepts
- Database:
- data access/database interactions
- database storage information
- Module composition
- Project structure
- Services
- Third-party components
- APIs

How do I generate the Application discovery report?
Use the Application Discovery Export button in the application “Welcome” page:
Select the items you want to see in the report - all available items will be auto-selected by default, and any that are not available in the current application will be unavailable for selection:
The report is generated and downloaded to your machine automatically.
If you do not see the “Welcome” page with the various sections, it may be disabled. See Landing Page in Viewer preferences.
