Adding Layers
To add Layers for your own use:
From the shortcut menu:
- Right-click in the Layers window.
- Select Create Layer from the shortcut menu - the Layer Properties dialog box will launch.
- Rename the Layer as appropriate and select the required options.
- Click OK to confirm.
Notes
- If the Layers window is not visible, click View > Layer to display it.
- All new Layers will be named "New Layer". This can be changed during creation of the layer, or at a later date using the Layer Properties dialog box.
- You cannot name a layer with the same name as the name of a layer that already exists.
