A dedicated uninstaller is available and can be accessed via the Microsoft Windows Add or remove programs control panel:
- Maintenance Releases that have been applied to a major/minor release (e.g: x.x.0) cannot be uninstalled separately. If you need to rollback to a previous Maintenance Release, you need perform an uninstallation and then re-install the required Maintenance Release.
- You should ALWAYS restart the workstation following an uninstall procedure to ensure that the Microsoft Windows registry is cleaned up.
This uninstaller is configured to remove:
- the contents of the
%PROGRAMFILES%\CAST\CAST\
installation folder (or the equivalent custom location) - any shortcuts on the desktop
- any Start menu entries
This uninstaller will not remove the following items:
- the contents of the
%PROGRAMDATA%\CAST\CAST
data folder - the contents of the
%APPDATA%\CAST\CAST
data folder - the contents of the
%TEMP%\CAST\CAST
temporary data folder
